<description>As an organic product developer, moms are always asking me what I do when our son is sick.
I tell them this: if there is a fever, call your doctor.
I try to get our son&#039;s fever down without the use of conventional drugs.
I use a holistic approachs, water, cotton cloth, essential oils.
Invest in a good holistic remedies book that can give you step by step instructions.
When I know it&#039;s a virus, I use Oil of Oregano diluted in juice.
It&#039;s worked well against nasty, lingering coughs as well....
Some folks take it daily, while others a few days a week during flu season.
And remember to keep them hydrated!
As the founder of PediaOrganic, I keep a bottle of the electrolyte drink in the fridge at all times.
So when our son comes home from school and I find he hasn&#039;t been drinking from his waterbottle, I give it to him to keep him hydrated. The number one reason for our immunity not working properly is poor hydration! I know moms that pack it in lunches to make sure the kids are getting proper electrolytes.
The best defense is keeping our bodies strong! Start the day with a hearty &quot;protein&quot; breakfast, and limiting sugar. Do that for the kids as well.....

May you forever find health and happiness without artificial ingredients!
