It is very important that the child is being transported safely to the hospital since the ambulance is the first step to getting there when it is a very serious emergency.

I am a pediatric nurse in a private office. I have to call for ambulance transport every few weeks and I always ask if they need the child’s carseat. They usually put them in the parents lap which is not safe. This would be fantastic

This needs action! As the mom of 2 children and one who needed to be in an ambulance at birth to be transported to a helicopter, I never knew about this until now. I couldn’t imagine what would happen if my child were in that ambulance and it crashed.
